So a passenger spends a few bucks to go to Vegas.Big deal. Vegas will be the bigger winner. Hotel stays, gambling, shows, ect. What we get stuck with is more liability if something goes wrong on our side of the border. Not to mention, can our fire departmnet respond in a timely manner or even know how to handle an accident that will eventually happen. How about some federal funding for training on a crisis matter pertaining to a high speed rail accident. As for federal funding, If Obama can say he created 1 job he will spend it.
