About Scott Shackford
Scott Shackford is the editor in chief of the Desert Dispatch in Barstow, California. He moved to Barstow in 2002 to work for the newspaper as a news editor and page designer and was promoted to the top position in 2005.
He’s a member and president of the Barstow Rotary Club for 2007-08 and lives in Barstow with his excessively energetic dog, Xander.
